It’s Your Choice is a local youth charity which has been providing a wide range of support to young people living in and around the New Forest for over 30 years.
We are keen to hear from a qualified and experienced youth worker who is interested in working, part-time to join our committed and friendly team of youth advisors and help us deliver information, advice, guidance (IAG), through our afternoon support centres, group work in schools, and casework to support and meet the varying needs of young people aged 11-25 years. The support we provide covers – but is not limited to – issues including education, employment and training; homelessness/accommodation; personal relationships; sexual health; drug, alcohol and substance misuse; financial management; mental health; offending behaviour; and other risk behaviours.
We deliver support to young people via weekly support centres across the New Forest, predominately in the afternoons, or by appointment at venues across the area and also via casework or in targeted projects to address specific needs. Additionally we provide emotional health and well-being workshops to groups in schools.
We are a busy, vibrant charity committed to achieving positive outcomes for all the young people we support. This role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Checks, and you must have the right to work in the UK. We will also take up two references.

It’s Your Choice is committed to equality and diversity and welcomes applications from all candidates.
