"What is the most dangerous drug?

This is difficult to say, as all drugs including alcohol and tobacco have their dangers.  Drugs affect people in different ways and what happens to one person may not be a problem for someone else.  I suppose there is no straight answer; all drugs are dangerous in one way or another.

"If my friends drink or take drugs and collapse, if I call an ambulance will the Police be called too?"

If your friend(s) become unwell after drinking or taking drugs, the most important thing to do is to get them some help.  Wait with your friend and give the Paramedic as much information as you can (e.g. what they have drunk or taken, how long ago and how much?)  It may just save their life.  The Police will only be called if the situation is dangerous and the ambulance crew are at risk.

"Will bread soak up any alcohol?  Or will coffee sober me up?"

Nothing will sober you up quickly!  Alcohol can only get out of your body via sweat, breath and urine (it will take an adult kidney one hour to process one unit of alcohol).  Coffee will not sober you up quicker but the Caffeine may just perk you up a bit.  As for the bread, well eating something before you start drinking is always a good idea as it lines your stomach, slows down the rate at which you get drunk and should you drink too much and be sick, it's always better to have something in your stomach to be sick with!!

"Is it true you can get Cannabis from your doctor?"

NO - cannabis as a substance has no medical qualities so therefore cannot be prescribed by a doctor. Cannabis can only be legally possessed by people with a special licence from the Home Office. One chemical in cannabis has been researched as having therapeutic qualities but only ONE element of cannabis!

"My brother drinks so much at the weekend he can't remember how he gets home.  I am worried, how can I help him? "

Ask him to speak to someone. Most services will offer a confidential service and won't force you to give up. They will however, discuss safe using of substances and ensure you stay safe.

"If I give my friend drugs - will I be arrested for supply?"

Yes - supply includes simply handing it over or sharing without money being involved. This includes offering "bogus" drugs - pretending what you are supplying is an illegal drug!

"Why is Cannabis a Class B drug, when people I know smoke it and they are ok?"

Cannabis is stronger now than it has ever been. This increases the risks to health and in particular mental health. If you have not experienced or don't know anyone who has experienced problems it does not mean it won't happen!
