A young person can self refer by coming to one of our drop in across the New Forest (no appointment necessary) or phoning the helpline number 0800 515819.
Parents and other agencies ( such us GP's, Schools, youth workers, Connexions and Brookvale) may also refer a young person to It's Your Choice - however it is always the young persons choice and no one will force them to do anything they don't want to do / are not ready for.
If you do decide counselling is for you, we will take a few details such as a first name and contact number and then contact the young again when an appointment becomes available.
Because of demand for this service, there may be a waiting list of about 10 weeks, but young people will be offered ongoing help and support while they are waiting.
